Let's Get Digital! Jeopardy with a Digital Twist to Educate the Hostos Community about Cyber Gender-Based Violence

Event Description:

We often think of interpersonal violence only occurring in the physical world, but what we don't see is as our lives become more invested in cyberspace and virtual reality, so does the violence that exists in our interpersonal relationships. This event focuses on what does gender-based violence looks like online or when using technology, and how to identify signs and prevent it from happening to you or a loved one using an old favorite, Jeopardy. Winners of the game will be provided with prizes such as gift cards or swag. Event starts at 11:30 pm and will last for 90 minutes with lunch after.
